fabric8 events for january 2010

Happy new decade, everyone! We hope you enjoyed the holidaze and are ready to keep partying arty, because our calendar is filling up quickly. Check out these upcoming events and remember that our gallery space is also available to rent for private parties, as is our gallery residence for visitors to San Francisco.

Street Food Fridays @ fabric8, 6-8PM:: 2010 sees the return of our weekly food events, featuring a rotating roster of savory and sweet deliciousness by the likes of Creme Brulee Cart, Gobba Gobba Hey, Soul Cocina, Toasty Melts, Good Foods Caters, Evil Jerk Cart, and many more. This Friday the 8th look out for Pizza Hacker, Adobo Hobo (with their new Sisig Tacos!) and Creme Brulee Cart.

As Above So Below Tattoo Studio Grand Opening Party @ fabric8 + As Above So Below, Thursday, January 14, 5PM until ?:: Join us to welcome our new neighbors at 3340 22nd Street with a one-night-only art show featuring the work of studio owner Dillon Forte and, as the flyer says "FREE BEER". Come get so blotto that you wake up with a new tattoo -- and a nice one at that!

The Last Shall Be First: New Works by Erik Otto @ Recology (aka the SF Dump), Friday, January 22, 5-9PM:: See what artist Erik Otto has come up with during his 3-month artist-in-residence at the SF Recycling and Disposal Center. It will no doubt make you think twice about what you throw out.

fabric8 (1)4-Year Anniversary Show @ fabric8, Saturday, January 23, 6-10PM:: Come celebrate 14(!) years in business and 4 years in the Mission with us as we kick off our first art show of the year featuring long-time collaborators Ursula X Young, Romanowski, Reuben Rude, Erik Otto, Norm Maxwell, and Daniel Fleres. Don't even think about missing it.
