Chris Granillo is an Oakland-based artist who just completed a solo show at Pueblo Nuevo Gallery in Berkeley called "A Bird's Eye View." A painter and sculptor with various styles, he has of late been using birds to personify society and its struggles.
The hummingbirds in these 8in. x 8in. pieces, priced at US$ 125 each, are disguised as bees in an attempt to get some honey. In this day and age, how can you blame them?
